How to ...

Fill in your application

To apply, fill in the form as accurately as possible and then submit it. We have tried to make the form easy to understand. You will have the opportunity to check and edit your inputs right up until you submit. After the form is submitted, it is too late to change anything!

Instructions about what should be in the various boxes appear near each box. If you miss out a box, or the system doesn't like one of your answers, then pressing "next" will give you that page back again with a red error message near the problematic box.

If the system was happy with all your answers, then pressing "next" will allow you to check that your inputs are correct before giving you the next page to fill in.

Submitting your application will send it directly to the reviewers. You can expect them to complete the preliminary review within a month. You may then be asked for further information.

Special Interest Groups (SIGs)

SIGs are an ad hoc collection of five or more institutions that come together to form a micro community to address a specific topic that is of common interest to all SIG members. The initiative to form a SIG lies completely with the members, and they are free to select the topic of their SIG. A SIG may be funded at up to 15000 € a year for specific activities.

SIGs are very similar to Birds of a Feather groups.

NOTE that a SIG requires at least five partners from at least two EU countries.

Prospective Research Projects (PRPs)

Good luck with your application!
