Microsoft® Robotics Studio is a development platform that provides some highly innovative functionality for those of you interested in building robots or applications that require extensive loosely-coupled distributed parallelism. An important part of the offering is the simulation runtime. You can control a robot from a web page using the Microsoft Robotics Software Development Kit.
Robosoft supplies a range of professional service robots and hardware platforms based on Microsoft Robotics Studio, and an off-the-shelf, advanced robotics controller software (robuBOX) to rapidly design powerful mobile robots. press release.
KUKA's Educational Framework, a simulation environment intended to teach students at universities in design and implementation of a (virtual) robot control and test it optionally on a real robot cell, is based on Microsoft Robotics Studio.
