Call for PRPs and SIGsApplication instructionsThe call for Prospective Research Projects PRPs is now closed due to EURON itself finishing on April 30, 2008. Special Interest Groups SIGs can still be submitted for a little longer, using the on-line application form. We have tried to make the form easy to understand. [[miscdocs/news/call-proposals-07.pdf|More information...]] Brief instructions on how to fill in the on-line form, aimed at experienced proposers, are on the right-hand side of this page. More detailled instructions are also available to read in advance. You don't have to study these — instructions about what should be in the various boxes of the application form appear near each box and on the right-hand side of each page. You will have the opportunity to check and edit your inputs right up until you submit. After the form is submitted, it is too late to change anything. Submitting your application will send it directly to the reviewers. You can expect them to complete the preliminary review within a month. If they are in doubt about anything, you may be asked for further information. Check what the reviewers will be assessing by trying the link given to you on successful submission. The application form is the only source of information your reviewers have. It is worth spending time filling it in accurately. EligibilityIn order to be eligible for money, your group must:
Your group may include additional members from outside the EU, butthey won't get any money. Their budget has to be zero, sorry. Your group may include non-EURON members from inside the EU, butthey will have to join EURON to get their money. Joining EURON is free. If they are not eligible (eg they are number theorists or biologists, and not doing robot research) then they need to be externally hired by another partner: ie, their money goes via a EURON member. If you submit a proposal without enough partners or including only oneEU country, or otherwise fail the eligibility requirements, then your proposal will be rejected. Plain TextNote that the textboxes can only process plaintext. No formatting, no html, no pictures. If you really have to include a picture, include a URL for it as plain text (not a link). But don't annoy the reviewers by giving them extra to read. |
Deprecated (due to lack of manpower for maintenance). |
