Congratulations to Hendrik Van Brussel of Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, who was awarded the Joseph F. Engelberger Robotics Award in Autumn 2008. (Also the previous year, a EURON member, Martin Hägele of Fraunhofer IPA (Stuttgart) won this Award.) The Engelberger Robotics Award is a prestigious robotics honour and recognizes outstanding individuals who have contributed to the advancement of the science of robotics and in the service of mankind.
