FET is organising "Science beyond Fiction: The European Future Technologies conference (FET09)", which aims at bringing together all FET stakeholders in Prague on 21-23 April. ![]() The 2009 Annual Meeting of our EURON network will take place in Leuven, Belgium, on April 6 - 7 (and possibly 8th). The EURON Board invites every committed member of EURON (including industrial members) to suggest ideas for workshops, tutorials, or other events that our community can be interested in. Please, only make suggestions that you are committed to support yourself. The IJCAI 2009 Mobile Manipulation Challenge takes place on July 13-16 in Pasadena, CA, USA. The IJCAI 2009 Robotics site can be consulted for more information about the Learn by Demonstration (LbD) challenge and the Undergraduate Robotics Contest. The UK's National Science and Engineering Week 2009 will take place from 6 - 15 March. This is an opportunity for people of all ages, areas and organisations to take part in science, engineering and technology activities. 2008 was a huge success with an estimated 3500 events and 1.4 million attendees!
