205. Quark Robotics, S.L.
206. Intelligente Maschinen GmbH
InMach
Ulm, Germany.
Contact: Boris Kluge.
|
Robots for better service, better care, better comfort
InMach Intelligente Maschinen GmbH is concerned with the
development of robot technology which allows an automation of everyday
services and tasks such as cleaning, transportation of goods or people
or other logistic and maintenance tasks.
Robotic devices which can take over and automize everyday tasks
such cleaning, transportation, logistics, or maintenance may provide a
viable approach to relieve the problems of an aging society and
improve the living standard and independency of people in need.
However, robots which are capable of cleaning a floor or carrying
heavy loads will not only be used by elderly or handicapped people but
by everybody. Recent market statistics and forecasts (World Robotics
2003 edited by UN/IFR) predict a market volume for service robots
which exceeds that of industrial robotics by magnitudes.
InMach has taken up the challenge to play a leading role in the
development and commercialization of assistive robotic systems for
private as well as for professional use.

About the Lists
Lists of Individuals
National Representatives
know about robot research and activities in their countries. They
decide whether a group applying for membership has a sufficiently high
research profile. They also form the EURON board which makes the
decisions about what goes on in EURON.
Key People have
responsibility for the four key areas
of EURON: Research Coordination, Education and Training, Industrial Links, and Dissemination.
All these people would really like
to hear your opinions and get your contributions to their
areas of special interest. EURON's webmaster
bridget AT mmmi.sdu.dk is also keen to receive contributions
to and comments on this site.
Specialist Membership Lists
EURON members from a particular country can be found by clicking on
the active map.
Industrial and Commercial
members are basically any member that focuses more on selling robots
than on education. Most EURON members are universities.
The 26 original contracting
members of EURON II are those organisations which signed the legal
contract directly with the Commission of the European
Communities in 2003.
Full Lists of Members
Formal Members are
the legal entities signing membership agreements with EURON II.
The list of major Robot Research
Groups allows easier contact with those groups doing the work that
qualified their formal member for membership.
