About and for Members

What is Euron II?

EURON II is a direct continuation of the original European Robotics Research Network (EURON). It is a network of excellence under the 6th Framework Programme (FP6), funded as part of the Information Society Technologies (IST) Future and Emerging Technologies (FET) programme on "Beyond Robotics".

EURON's objective is to implement and maintain a Network of Excellence that allows coordination of research, teaching and education, academic-industry collaboration, and publications and conferences in the area of robotics throughout Europe. EURON will also provide a primary portal for information about European robotics to other interested parties, such as journalists, and roboticists outside Europe.

A summary of EURON's activities during 2005 is now available.

EURON II is organised around four Key Areas:

  • Rüdiger
    Rüdiger Dillmann
    Angel

EURON Documents

Many of the necessary forms and documents have been gathered together for easy access.

Many of the results from EURON I are also available.

EURON from April 2008

EURON II stopped accepting new members on Jan 20th 2008, so it is now too late to join. Sorry.

EURON III will be starting in April, so hopefully will be accepting new members soon.
