Biography of ...Miguel A. SalichsEURON's National Representative for Spain:
Miguel A. Salichs heads the Systems Engineering and Automation Department at the Carlos III University of Madrid. He received the Electrical Engineering and Ph.D. degrees from Polytechnic University of Madrid. His research interests include mind models, cognitive architectures, personal robots and multimodal human-robot interaction. He has been Chairman of the Intelligent Autonomous Vehicles of the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) for 6 years. He is currently a member of the Policy Committee of IFAC. He is currently the responsible of the Spanish National Research Program on Industrial Design and Production. |
