Henrik I Christensen did his initial studies in Mechanical Engineering before earning M.Sc. and Ph.D degrees in EE at Aalborg University, Denmark. He has upon graduation worked in Aalborg, Philadelphia before joining the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, Sweden. He is a chaired professor of computer science (autonomous systems) and the director of the KTH Centre for Autonomous Systems. He has published more than 190 contributions on vision, robotics and AI. He serves on the editorial board of many international journals such as IJRR, RAS, AI Magazine, Autonomous Robots. Dr. Christensen serves as the founding coordinator of the EURON network. He is also an advisor to a large number of governmental agencies and companies worldwide.
