Biography of ...Bridget HallamEURON's Webmaster
Bridget Hallam has a mixed scientific background, with a BSc in Medical Microbiology, and an MSc in Artificial Intelligence involving a project on using whisker sensors to guide an inaccurate robot arm through a maze. Bridget combined her biological and IT backgrounds in her PhD thesis: using a computer simulation to investigate a biologist's model of conditioning. After brief spells as computer vision researcher, web designer, and mobile robotics lecturer at Edinburgh University, Bridget moved to Denmark, where she is now EURON's Webmaster. Her publications include one of the first books solving the Rubik cube, various journal papers, and "From Animals to Animats 6", the proceedings of the "Simulation of Adaptive Behavior" conference 2002, for which she was Program Chair. |
