About and for Members

Benefits of EURON Membership

EURON was created

  • to make opportunities for European roboticists to meet each other,
  • to showcase high-quality European research to the rest of the world,
  • and to advertise different robotic events in Europe.

The euron-dist mailing list keep people in touch with many calls and activities. You do not have to be a member to join the list. You can register by following the link:
https://lists.iais.fraunhofer.de/sympa/info/euron-dist

You will get more visibility on the EURON website if you send information about your robot research group(s) to the webmaster, Bridget Hallam . In particular, send the proper name of the group and its website URL, also the contact person's name (and ideally a picture and URL for your best robot or two).

As a member, you are welcome to apply for money by submitting proposals to our different calls, such as those for:

You may also apply for money to start a special interest group.

Calls for proposals are advertised on the mailing lists and this website.

You have NO financial obligations until you do something concrete. Membership is currently free of charge.

Our Annual meeting is a perfect place to make new contacts for future collaborations within research projects. For attending the Annual meeting each member gets € 250 as partial travel reimbursement. The next annual EURON meeting will take place in Crete in March 2007. We do hope that you will be able to participate.

You have the opportunity to take part in various exciting initiatives such as the EURON Schools.

You have the opportunity to advertise your best project(s) on this web site.

We hope that you will take full advantage of being a member of EURON.

EURON from April 2008

EURON II stopped accepting new members on Jan 20th 2008, so it is now too late to join. Sorry.

EURON III will be starting in April, so hopefully will be accepting new members soon.
