Interesting RobotsScorpion from BremenA biomimetic eight legged robot
The "SCORPION" project is building eight legged all-terrain robots. Control is based on models of two biological control primitives: Central Pattern Generators and Reflexes. The robot can walk in any direction, and can easily change its direction, posture, and speed while walking. The robot has been successfully tested in rough, sandy and rocky terrain. A version of this robot is currently under test at the NASA Ames Research Center. Read more at the University of Bremen.
