www.euron.org

Statistics on website access Oct 2005 to Dec 2005

At the end of 2005 the web site had been running for 23 months and contained approx 200 "real" EURON html pages (ie, excluding pictures, pdf files, html pages sent in by others and displayed "as is"...)

The site was receiving 100 successful hits per hour on average with 12% of these being search bots. 1310 different IP addresses get pages each week. The most frequent accesses are by search.msn.com and then Mozilla.

Note that the number of hits is lower than the number of times that the pages are accessed -- looking at cached versions of pages generates no hits, for example.

  1. homepage www.euron.org (636 hits per week)
  2. /euros06/ (212) and especially the cfp (74 extra hits)

Notes

  • People like the robot gallery.
  • The number of hits for the PhD joblist is higher than the total of the joblist and the students index pages -- people must have bookmarked this page directly.
  • Many people access the industrial members page -- it is worth our industrial members ensuring that their information is there and is accurate.
  • Please recommend books for the University / Schools / general public textbooks pages!
