EURON Schools 2007 The 3rd Summer School on Surgical Robotics took place from September 5-12 in Montpellier, France. Many thanks to all who took part. The Player Summer School on Cognitive Robotics took place from 6-14 August in Munich, Germany. Many thanks to all who took part. Contact: Radu Bogdan Rusu rusu AT cs.tum.edu From March 25 - 30 the Virtual Reality and Robotics Lab. of Miguel Hernández University of Elche (Spain) organized the 2nd International EURON-UMH Winter School on Parallel Robotics. This Winter School was primarily addressed to young researchers (PhD and advanced Master students) interested on PKM and their underlying techniques. Students were exposed to the latest technologies in the analysis of parallel robots, and they could closely interact for one week with some of the top-level researchers in the world in this area. They also had the opportunity to discuss their research work with these researchers, as well as with other European students. 29 students attended from all over Europe and Latin America. Summer-School on Assistive Robots IURS-2007 took place from September 24-28 in Benicàssim, Spain. Contact: Pedro J. Schools in 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003, and the first two years.		Upcoming Schools EURON Schools ... are temporarily "on hold" due to changes in funding. We expect them to continue, so expect a new Call soon. Other (Summer) Schools The 9th Summer School on Image and Robotics will be held in Clermont-Ferrand, France, from June 23th — July 4th. The on-line pre-registration application form must be filled up before May 18. Please note that the maximum Summer School size is 60 participants so you should register as early as possible. A Summer School in Computer and Robot Assisted Maxillofacial Surgery (CRAMS) is to be held in Heidelberg, Germany, from July 21-25. The deadline for applications is May 15th. A Summer School on Monitoring and Coordination Across Networked Autonomous Entities will be held from August 18-22 in Castle Ebernburg, Germany. Application deadline: June 16th. A Summer School on Rescue Robotics will be held from September 15-19 in Benicassim, Spain. More details about these other Schools.
