  • The 1st International UMH Robotics Winter School on Telesurgery took place from March, 26 - 31 in Benidorm, Spain, organised by José M. Azorín .
  • The 3rd Summer School in Simultaneous Localisation and Mapping took place from August 27 - 31 in Oxford, UK, organised by Paul Newman and Andrew Davison
  • The 2nd Summer School on Perception and Sensor Fusion in Mobile Robotics took place from September 11 - 16 in Fermo, Italy, organised by Primo Zingaretti
  • IURS-2006 (the 6th International UJI Robotics School) on Humanoid Robots took place from September 18 - 22 in Benicàssim, Spain, organised by Angel P. del Pobil This School covered the design, building and use of Humanoid Robots.

... are temporarily "on hold" due to changes in funding. We expect them to continue, so expect a new Call soon.

Other (Summer) Schools

The 9th Summer School on Image and Robotics will be held in Clermont-Ferrand, France, from June 23th — July 4th. The on-line pre-registration application form must be filled up before May 18. Please note that the maximum Summer School size is 60 participants so you should register as early as possible.

A Summer School in Computer and Robot Assisted Maxillofacial Surgery (CRAMS) is to be held in Heidelberg, Germany, from July 21-25. The deadline for applications is May 15th.

A Summer School on Monitoring and Coordination Across Networked Autonomous Entities will be held from August 18-22 in Castle Ebernburg, Germany. Application deadline: June 16th.

A Summer School on Rescue Robotics will be held from September 15-19 in Benicassim, Spain.
