EURON Schools 2005 EURON/Geoplex Summer School on Modelling and Control of Complex Dynamical Systems, organised by Claudio Melchiori and Stefano Stramigioli. July 18 - 22, University of Bologna Residential Centre of Bertinoro, FC, Italy. 39 participants. Perception and Sensor Fusion in Mobile Robotics, organised by Primo Zingaretti, UNIVPM. September 1 - 7, Ancona, Italy. 43 participants. Surgical Robotics, organised by Etienne Dombre, LIRMM. September 7 - 14, Montpellier, France. 37 participants. Robotics and Neuroscience, organised by Angel del Pobil, Yiannis Demiris, and José M. Carmena. September 5 - 9, Benicàssim, Spain. 51 participants. Rescue Robotics Camp, October 29th to November 2nd, Rome, Italy. Further details of the four 2005 Summer Schools are available in PDF format. These include statistical breakdowns along various lines and students' suggestions for new Schools. 170 European and 16 people from other countries participated. The countries sending most participants were: Italy, Germany, France, Spain, and Sweden. Most participants were very happy with everything and would like to attend another School. Schools in 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003, and the first two years.		Upcoming Schools EURON Schools ... are temporarily "on hold" due to changes in funding. We expect them to continue, so expect a new Call soon. Other (Summer) Schools The 9th Summer School on Image and Robotics will be held in Clermont-Ferrand, France, from June 23th — July 4th. The on-line pre-registration application form must be filled up before May 18. Please note that the maximum Summer School size is 60 participants so you should register as early as possible. A Summer School in Computer and Robot Assisted Maxillofacial Surgery (CRAMS) is to be held in Heidelberg, Germany, from July 21-25. The deadline for applications is May 15th. A Summer School on Monitoring and Coordination Across Networked Autonomous Entities will be held from August 18-22 in Castle Ebernburg, Germany. Application deadline: June 16th. A Summer School on Rescue Robotics will be held from September 15-19 in Benicassim, Spain. More details about these other Schools.
