Creating Database Resources

Databases of teaching materials, courses, and PhD abstracts

Please add relevant items to the appropriate databases, and encourage others to do the same!

The database of robotics teaching materials contains items that can be used freely for educational purposes. These items include links to videos, simulators, and educational robotics platforms.

Do feel free to use the materials in the database in your teaching.
Please do add any copyright-free material that you think others might find useful.

The database of European robotics courses provides a central source of information for people wishing to choose a robotics course. One aim of this database is to enable some sort of standardisation of the courses and better course credit transfer possibilities through wider use of ECTS.

The procedure for adding courses is very simple, please ensure that your course is in!

The Theseuron directory contains the abstracts of robotics Ph.D. theses developed in EURON-member Research Centers and Universities. This database provide readers with access to the most up-to-date research in various areas of robotics.

If you are a student, remember to add your abstract when your thesis is finshed, and get your colleagues to do the same.
If you are a teacher, please remind your students to add their work to the database.

If you are a researcher, remember that these abstracts describe the most recent state-of-the-art research available, much of it not yet published.

Getting Involved

We hope that you will get involved in many of EURON's activities and encourage others to do so as well.

Attend Meetings

Attending meetings is an excellent way of making contacts and friends within the community. These contacts are normally interesting, and may also be useful!

EURON Schools are aimed at PhD students so are particularly good for people wishing to deepen an already existing interest. [More details ... ]

Contribute to the Initiatives

Your knowledge and resources are valuable -- please consider sharing them with others by adding items to the databases, contributing your opinions to the roadmap and benchmarking initiatives, and your information to this website.

Especially, please contribute to the Video Collection for Students asap.

Use the Resources

Make use of the resources that EURON offers. Much of the information is freely available to all, but for other resources you have to be a EURON member. Apply for the grants, use the databases and the contacts, apply for the awards, use the mailing lists.
