Annual Meeting 2005Year 1The first Annual Meeting of EURON II was held from 16 - 18 February 2005 in the Warsaw University of Technology, Warsaw, Poland. EURON's two international advisors, Prof. Hirochika Inoue of Japan and Prof. Lynne Parker of the USA, gave plenary talks. Many of the initiatives from EURON I are continuing in EURON II, and new initiatives are starting. The three other Integrated Projects (IPs) funded under FET FP6, COGNIRON, The Cognitive Robot Companion, I-SWARM, Intelligent Small World Autonomous Robots for Micro-Manipulation, and Neurobotics, The Fusion of Neuroscience and Robotics for Augmenting Human Capabilities were presented in parallel sessions.
